Power BI Core Skills
Power BI is the latest tooling for self-service analysis and reporting from Microsoft. This course is designed to show you how to enable end-users to perform much of their own analysis and reporting by using Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Map, Power Q&A and Power BI with just the right amount of depth, within a single day.

The course is most suitable for users that need to learn to work with the Microsoft Power BI platform or for existing IT professionals that want to cross-train into BI work. The course can also help business analysts and project managers that need a solid understanding of the technologies involved. Both high level and detailed click by click instructions are provided for all practical lab work.

During the course, you'll learn about how to acquire data using Power Query, how to construct an analytic data model using Power Pivot, how to analyse the data using Power View, Power Map, and Excel charts and pivot tables. You'll also see details of how to share your work with other by using Power BI and Sharepoint.

Our courses are based on the latest available versions of Power BI. The focus of the course and of the labs is on acquiring and shaping data, and on creating reports from the data. A demonstration of the capabilities that are provided by using Power BI online is also provided.
